Back in 2010, Andrew and I had a litter of puppies from a stray named Mama--all the puppies had Fading Puppy Syndrome, and we lost 7 out of 8---they literally died in our hands, and three vets couldnt help. The one who survived did so because we prayed her through, around the clock, and because Lucy Stafford literally carried her around in her shirt for 2 weeks! We begged God to let her live, and He did. Her name is Hope, and shes 4. Shes a skinny black Chow mix, and she can run like the wind chasing a ball. I know yall prayed our Girlie through with the tail thing, but now Hope is at Parkway Animal Clinic with Doctor David Martin, and is in kidney faiilure---I need more prayers. Sorry to ask again so soon! Im shocked and devastated. Hes doing testing, and suspects Leptosporosis. He will keep her there for a few days, trying to flush her kidneys around the clock. Im trying to learn about the disease, but her symptoms are spot-on. Anyone have any experience with this? This is a new one for us. If yall would pray for us again for Hope, we would really appreciate it. We both BELIEVE in the power of prayer, and the Ultimate Physician up there. Is it November yet?
