Back in Buenos Aires after traveling through the Salta region. Highlights include: huminas, empanadas saltenas, coca leaves, and Malena place in Cafayate. Now that we are back in BA we find that today is another holiday. There are A LOT of holidays in Argentina, and that is not a complaint. It is wonderful that life here is arranged at a human level, where things run slower and the right of the consumer is not the governing principle (even though sometimes it can be a little tough, but its well worth it). I would be a happy camper if my relationship to Argentina could last several decades.
