Back in Burma but only just....I have to get a business visa on arrival in Rangoon although my occupation is listed as housewife therefore I have many forms to fill in and I have to provide photos etc not to mention USD50 every time I arrive here. However, Ive never in the past required a return ticket as part of my paper work that is until yesterday at Changi in Singapore where they refused to let me fly without a return ticket...cue panic. Singapore airlines sent me to their ticketing desk where they offered me two choices a single ticket for S$1600 or a return for S$2754! Between Ken and Sarah they managed to get me an on-line ticket for S$351 for the same airline, Im totally mystified how they can justify the prices BUT had zero time to contemplate as by the time we organised the ticket etc I had only 20 mins to catch the flight...what a hassle.
