Back in December we visited a fascinating little village on the River Beaulieu called Bucklers Hard. This place was once home to a thriving shipworks, which at its peak was producing warships for the Royal Navy, including four in the British fleet at Trafalgar. Looking down through the old houses of the main street, you can just imagine the half constructed vessels towering over the launch-ways on to the River. Inside the fascinating museum you can see superb models of both the ships, and the village in its peak.
