Back in Kensington, at my parents place, just ate some of my Dads Lasagna and now its time to thank the people who made the last 10 days tremendous. Rocked a Cleveland bowling alley basement with Jivviden Daylight Is The Dream Gomez Addams and partied with Timur Mukhodinov Rachel Hunt William Hooper, met up with our road bros + sis The Everymen in Des Moines with Zach Wiser of the badass Holy Rattlesnake, car died in Chicago and Tim Nordberg and Karina Natis saved our asses and housed us, got Stinson level drunk in Minneapolis with Brilliant Beast and Julie Babermeyer, rocked over Chicago with Dirty Rotten Sunshine and The Nancy Drews, found the most rock n roll bar in the world Motor Alley in Kenosha, and tangod with Jeff Moody and FoWlMoUtH, reunited with our loves Heavy Looks and our writely buddy Michael Dhar in Madison and all 4 BKW and 6 Everymen crashed on Rosalind Greierts floor, tore it up with Cyber Girlfriend in Milwuakee while Jason Royal Hart did his amazing dances and Evans Aunt Robin fed us the best Chili of my entire life, had a sad farewell to The Everymen in St. Louis rocking with Karate Bikini and crashing with wonderful Dailee Joyce, then capped it off with a shit show at The Tree Bar with Sleep Fleet Craig James Ackerman and partied with our boyz in Van Dale Joe Camerlengo and Tim Horak and BK ex-pat Sita Asar, just got home and I just wanna go back out and play rock n roll again with The Brooklyn What. Thank you Michael Venutolo-Mantovani Catherine Herrick Jamie Zillitto Scott Zillitto Stephen Chopek and Geoffrey Morrissey of the E-Men for being not just the best working band out there but the nicest and funniest and to my BKW bros and to all of you who helped make this happen, which is many of you. Playing music, seeing friends and trampin around is about the best thrill I could ask for in this short life. I am aching to get onstage again, lets get together on Friday where we open some great friends who happen to be the heart of rock n roll, Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires. Lets get together!
