Back in May my life changed drastically. The person I had trained - TopicsExpress

Back in May my life changed drastically. The person I had trained under for 5 yrs was arrested on horrible awful charges. It hurt and bothered me so much, that after 3 weeks, I made a decision that if Jiu Jitsu was to be my career I needed to leave I left based on the information that was released, the magnitude of the charges, and what was taking place. There are certain things, that I just cant make exceptions for. Now fast forward to today, those who stayed at the gym, have an extreme hate for me. I am continued to be attacked by those guys on of all things Facebook. These are mostly grown men, who take to facebook to blast me. that is the action of a true coward. Jiu Jitsu is an art and self defense. it teaches to face fears, and overcome. the acts of grown men with families that take to facebook is pathetic, and i wonder how thier wives and kids can look at them in the face. With all the news in the passed few days in the Jiu Jitsu community, i feel that maybe its a good idea that I become more vocal on what has transpired and the awful things that have been alleged. I maintain my integrity regardless, and I was brought up to have pride in myself and my work.
