Back in the day, nights would start to get brisk, sugar maples - TopicsExpress

Back in the day, nights would start to get brisk, sugar maples were the first to turn maroons, orange and flame red, followed by poplars and birch both bright yellow and before you knew it everywhere you looked was a gorgeous display of autumn colors. Sometimes I think about it and for a brief moment I miss it, then I remember slush, ugh, and freezing rain, double ugh, and the Paynes gray that would overtake everything and settle in for months... sigh... Well nature has its way of making up for the beauty when you are out of the northern regions and here in south Florida in September we get Orchids!!! They grow right on the trees with no dirt and it is quite amazing. Im seeing these babies in a painting that I am currently working on and heres a little glimpse for you too! Live in awe of nature and you will see magic all around you everyday... there is no better way... 333 Peace and Grace 555 :)
