Back to English language, let me share some thoughts about it too. To master a language is not just gaining the ability to speak, read, write, listen well in that language. More than that is the ability to transfer your ideas, your thoughts. It is the ability to convey what you want to say to others. It is the ability to persuade others. It is the ability to understand others. And more than anything, it is the ability to share your feelings to others and understand others feelings. Foreign language is a barrier. To learn an language is to find a way to go through that barrier. No matter how well you think you learn, there will always be difficulties on the way. But to understand and share feelings is to find a way to remove that barrier completely. When you are able to do that, you wont need to learn anymore. I believe that one day human will not even need language, they can just communicate by using their brain waves via some special devices . Saying all these things doesnt mean that Im good enough at English. It is just what Im thinking of it at the moment. And what Im thinking may change in the future. But for now, I believe thats the right way to look at a foreign language. Thats why I was able to write this long. Thats why I often post things in English rather than Vietnamese on facebook. Oops, Im afraid that I might no longer be able to use Vietnamese as good as in the past . Thank you friend!!! :D
