Back to Genesis 3. The blame game. Thank you for checking out the post (Genesis 3:11-13) And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? (God is holding Adam accountable here. Adam did you listen to satan? See, satan played the serpent being a snake. A tree does not talk, but the tree was evil as satan is the only one in the Garden who rebelled against God. Knowing to do good, and to do evil). 12And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. (A lot to learn here. Adams first reaction, blame someone else for his sins. We become accountable for our sins. If we remember back to the last chapter God told Adam not to partake of satan. Now, Eve was an enabler. But, that does not take the responsibility of Adam for his sins, and ourselves for our sins in like situations. This game does not end till someone becomes accountable. Just a big part in the destruction in sin, and what it causes). 13And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. (What did you do Eve? The devil made me do it. and so it is when we sin. Never ending blame, never getting to the truth. The word beguiled means to be utterly deceived. In every which way possible). Lets go to II Corinthians: Paul is teaching the physical example for a spiritual lesson. (II Corinthians 11:2-3) For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. (What is Godly jealousy? To protect, be possessive of. Why? we want no one lost to satan. Stay a spiritual virgin. No fornicating with satan. 3But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled (seduced) Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. (Im worried about you in every way. This is a good phobia, out of love. satan enters the mind and brings confusion. He totally/wholly took over Eve and seduced here. This is the simplicity Christ teaches: common things we deal in life, for spiritual lessons. Many of these things are overlooked in life, taken for granted, as we get caught up in the World. This is not Good, because Christ teaches us what is important in life. In other words, if one is caught up in the rat race of life with things that are not meaningful. We need to take a good look at it). Amen
