Back to School event in Columbia was amazing... over 70 children showed up to collect their bags... Huge shout-out to Elmwood church for amazing set of volunteers, who worked in preparing the food, setting up the tables and arranging the book bags. Thanks to Ashley and Autumn who has spent the whole week in the camp has come down to entertain the kids and also speak to the teenagers about their experience in the camp. Even though, I wasnt in the room with Ms. Vanessa, I heard about how the kids were having fantastic time in the upper room. Every mother who came to the event has signed up to be an advisor for Proverbs226... One of the father who packed the bag, and was released after the packing and had come with the kids to get the bags for his children... Again, the whole Proverbs226 team was thoroughly blessed by the hospitality shown by Elmwood church! We are off to next week in Charlotte, Charleston, Myrtle Beach and Florence...
