Back to Singara Chennai...would like to share an exp. with Dadar ( Mumbai ) station.. hoe the taxi wala cheating people.. be very careful.. before 6 months i landed in dadar station around 3 am...a person posing as taxi driver came and offered to take me to chembur for rs.200 ( nominal for that time ) and also he picked up my luggage...he boarded me in a taxi and also sat in front along with driver.. Suddenly he asked me change for rs.1000 and put some powerful lights inside the car and i gave change of Rs.500 + 5 * 100 notes. he took and immediately told i gave rs.100 note instead of 500. I was half sleep that time and gave him blance. He told vehile some problem and asked to take another taxi....there was lot of doubt in my mind...suspecting if i was cheated like.......then forget the incident... Again before 10 days ...same secenrio....the queue for pre-paid taxi was heavy and one broker approched me..saying for jus Rs.150 he can drop me at chembur..( now I know and wanted to check ).. so i boarded the taxi and as usual he also got in front seat jus after .5km drive they stopped and asked me change for Rs.1000 - same modus operndi- i said i dont have....he asked atleast give for Rs.500. I said no..he asked me do u travel even without rs.500 in hand ? i said none of his business. He stopped the vehicle and asked me to get down.........?????? While travelling i got a group of tamil people in my compartment and narrated the story and it seems they too had same situation like this ASKING for change by driver ???????? So Makkas be careful ..........this is their modus operandi to cheat especially if they find chennaities or people travelling alone.
