Back to blocked bridleways now. It seems to me we could all go - TopicsExpress

Back to blocked bridleways now. It seems to me we could all go onto the BHS route maps and fill in the form they give you to report on bridleways. I know I need to go and explore the one that is blocked by Stithians lake as knowing it was blocked I have not ridden it!! So this weekend I intend to walk along it as my horse is still slightly lame. I am talking about the bridleway between Halebezack and the lake. Path Ref: 232/89/1 BR from FP85 (Halabezack) to Stithians Reservoir Boundary Grid Ref: SW708348 Can I suggest that as many of us as possible go to this link and fill in the form about the same blockage. bhsaccesscornwall.org.uk/Routes/Ridingmap.php?marker=1&xref=169595&yref=35391&file=Ridingmapwest Maybe we can encourage some movement there to start with. Gill and I have been out exploring on foot as well and checked another track which says it is blocked and discovered it was not which was Path Ref: 232/N Grid Ref: SW689319 This track (definitive footpath) was ridden until recently, but we understand landowner is now not liking horse access (claiming abusive horseriders!). This bit of track is being used it looks like for rallying by four by fours or the likes but there was nothing physical to stop you using it apart from a rattly old gate.
