Back to the vet again this morning - the dreaded diarrhea returned. Tiggers exam is OK, and his appetite is good, so the vet thinks its just because he is eating too many things he shouldnt - namely, plants. He found tons of plant debris/cell walls, etc in this mornings stool sample. I am just surprised he didnt find rocks, sand, and bug carcasses. There is a small (12-18 square) patch of sand in the backyard where grass refuses to grow, and Tigger likes to stand there and eat the ants that are rushing by (we have a big ant problem in the yard - tons of fire ants and other ant hills) - while he is snarfing up ants, he gets a lot of sand, too! So now we are on Prescription Diet i/d for awhile....
