You would think that jet lag, blisters, confusion, getting lost in a country where you know literally one word of the language, sketchy planes, the smell of urine everywhere, weird public transportation, and perpetual crazy homeless people would make me miss home. I do miss my friends, but this experience is like no other. Going on this trip took the spark of interest I had in travel and poured gasoline on it. Im already thinking three trips ahead now. The word wanderlust, no matter how cliché, has taken on a whole new meaning for me.
