Back to work to complete a working paper on the setting up of CTT(Center for Teaching Thinking ) to be jointly submitted(an IPTA n me)for an initial funding from a well -known financial institution who have in principle agreed to provide the required funding.The university senate has already approved the setting up of the center that will provide short courses , undergraduate n post-graduate programs in courses related to thinking n philosophy n research activities related to HOT(Higher-order thinking)Getting ready to be busy with the running of the center perhaps in one to two months time or may be sooner. The first center of its kind in Malaysian university- innovation - a break through .......after 40 yrs involvement in maths education, engineering education n HOT. Thanks to the academic staffs of the IPTA(especially from the faculty of education) +University senate who have accepted my proposal of the setting up of the center n jointly manage the center
