Bad news... a few days ago i got a call from malaysia that my oldest arowana passed away... he hadnt been doing well for the past few weeks... stopped eating and lost colour.. im guessing it may have been a fatal sickness like cancer. He was around 13 or 14 years old... since i adopted him at around 4 to 5 years old... big mama was a beast and a legend in my pond. Hopefully she had a good life with me for the past 10 years... Measurements: 38 inches by 11inches tall... a true MONSTER.... Note: she lost a bit of size and girth in the past few weeks that she didnt eat.. so she may have been a bit larger at her peak.
