Bad news, good news. Often, older horses require re-homing due to unforeseen circumstances, or health concerns. Taffy and Joules are prime examples. With the departure of Joules to her new home yesterday, we will now focus our attention on helping Taffy to become fit, and as sound as possible. Founder is a terrible affliction. Often tremendously painful, it frequently leads to a myriad of other problems as the animal tries to cope with the affliction. Thankfully, with an accurate and early diagnosis, foundered horses can lead relatively pain free, and productive lives. We hope that Taffy will find new friends here at Stonegate and that with some help, her feet will not hold her back. We want to thank our wonderful friends and supporters Carmen and Rodd for fitting Taffy into their busy schedules.
