Baked salmon tossed with a garlic-shallot-mushroom cream sauce. Enjoying the ambiance of the newly finished under-cabinet lighting and trim in the kitchen while I sip some wine and enjoy a quiet Saturday at home. When were young, we dont recognize these pleasures yet. We think staying home on a weekend evening sounds boring. I still love to go out (though NOT the same places :), but being in my own home, cooking, scritching my dog, kissin on my husband, and just enjoying the stillness...that is a real joy.
