Baltimore, MD- ONLY HAVE UNTIL TOMORROW!!!!! LOVELY Kittens/Cats/Seniors! CONTACT: [email protected] We are out of cat space at the shelter and have several kitties and litters in need of your help. Our most urgent cats are all listed below - Princess Buttercup ~ 2 yr old, spayed female, 7 lbs * Must have rescue by 10:30 AM 8/26, Tuesday * Princess Buttercup is a petite sweetheart. She has a hairloss on her toes and next to her nose which were woods lamp positive for ringworm - fungal culture pending. We are completely out of space at the shelter and need to get Princess into rescue ASAP. Princess is currently on medication for a mild URI and conjunctivitis for 10 days from 8/22. She came to the shelter as a stray after she was thrown out of her home by her owner and didnt know what to do with herself outside. Rose ~ 2 yrs old, unaltered female Rose came to the shelter last night and may have been hit by a car or suffered some other trauma to her head. The right side of her face is swollen, and her cornea is scratched. She does not appear to have any visible fractures in her mouth, but our vet not able to fully feel her facial bones through the swelling. She is running a fever of 103 and was started on antibiotics for infection. Rose is very sweet and loves attention! We need to get her out of the shelter ASAP for further medical attention. Holly 1-3 ~ 1 month old, 0.5 - 0.8 lbs The Holly kittens came to the shelter through our TNR program but were too young and frail to be released back outside. They were infested with fleas and are being treated for conjunctivitis. We need to get them out of the shelter and into a home for some TLC! Bosco ~ 2 yr old, neutered male, 9 lbs Bosco is such a sweetie pie! This little guy came to our shelter with a terrible eye injury which was removed in surgery. He developed an abscess and needed an additional drain placed in his eye to help with swelling. Now recovering wonderfully, Bosco is up and about and stomping around for attention! He is currently on Baytril with warm compresses to his eyes - drain removal due tomorrow. Goonie ~ 7 yrs old, neutered male, 15 lbs Goonie is such a cute guy. Hes got an adorable round tubby, but doesnt quite understand how the camera works and kept nosing himself right into me. Goonie is very outgoing and social but can be sensitive about being touched on his belly/back end due to his larger size. He came to the shelter after his owner lost her job - he is reported to be friendly, litter box trained and social with dogs and cats. Lindsey+2 ~ 2 yrs old, unaltered female, 7 lbs * Must have rescue commitment by 10:30 AM, Tuesday 8/26 * Lindsey is a sweet momma cat with two little ones, about 5 weeks old. Mom is a little shy here, but has shown no aggression and let me handle her babies and pick her up without issue. She has some marks around her neck that are suspicious for ringworm - due to very limited space at the shelter we are running out of options for quarantine and need to get this family into rescue ASAP. Tiger ~ 12 yrs old, neutered male, 18 lbs Tiger is just so handsome! This senior guy came to our shelter because his owners said they were no longer able to care for him. Friendly and sweet, Tiger is looking for a new home to call his own. Do you have a place this laid back love bug can hang out with you? Prince ~ 2 yrs old, unaltered male, 11 lbs Poor Prince is very sick at the shelter and needs the comforts of a home environment ASAP. He isnt eating very much and open mouth breathing - he is currently on antibiotics and subQ fluids to help get him back on his feet. Prince came to our shelter because his family could no longer care for him.
