Bamses Blog Hi Im Bamse and Im training to become a Pets As Therapy (PAT) dog to bring a little doggy sunshine (and cuddles) into the lives of the patients and workers across SEPT. Ill be telling you about my travels when my human PA remembers to stop fussing me and use her computer. The last few weeks have been busy, I have been travelling about quite a bit. Being socialised, I have heard it called, but it feels more like getting loads of fuss and attention. Ive met some lovely people who work for SEPT, theyve all been desperate for a picture with me, can you spot yourself in my gallery? I met a really wide noisy monster with a person wearing ear muffs riding it the other day! Mum told me not to be scared as the monsters name was Lawnmower and apparently, he wouldnt hurt me...and indeed he didnt, so I now feel quite confident when he goes past. The lovely ladies I met in HR made me my very own ID badge, which I wear with pride when I am working - so everyone knows who I am and that I am a trainee PAT dog. Very useful when I am at the Thurrock site - as they have a visiting black cat who stared at me from a tree when I was last there! I go to training (aka Puppy school) at the weekend and I am doing really well. Puppy school is great and I have a great knack of finding all the dropped treats - so I eat them as a reward for cleaning up. Im hoping to get to see some more patients soon, Ill let you know who gives the best cuddles. Bamse
