This opportunity shall provide the successful applicant with full exposure to a wide variety of banking & finance tranactions in Africa and beyond. Responsibilities shall include the following: The successful applicant shall draft, review and advise on a variety of commercial agreements and transactions relating to banking and finance Manage end to end banking and finance transactions Negotiate matters to settlement Develop and expand the banking and finance practice group The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision Have strong technical and legal drafting skills Demonstrate intellectual rigor – the ability to analyse, think laterally and offer solutions timeously Demonstrate an aptitude for dealing with complex and intricate transactions Offer superior analytical and technical skills Qualification, Skills and experience: LLB Law Degree Admitted Attorney (South Africans / English qualified) Senior Associate or atleast 3 - 5 years PQE Articled at leading law firm, at a boutique law firm and/or a recognised legal practise in South Africa Academic average of 65% and above (University results).
