#BanvSL 1. Loved the resolve shown by Mushfiqur Rahim. His driving down the ground was a treat to watch. Over the years, under pressure, Mushfiq has been performing exceedingly well with the bat. Still a lot of work left to be done. 2. Eranga has been very good so far. Particularly his plan to use the short-ball with merit has been impressive. He set up the Bangladeshi top-order batters to go after him and thus ripped a good harvest. 3. We could see some sharp turn on the track and in that sense why Bangladesh picked up three seamers remains a moot question. Picking up an extra spinner or a spin bowling allrounder would’ve been ideal. I would’ve gone for Mahmudullah Riad. In such critical situations, more often, he has always delivered the goods. 4. I can’t praise Bangladesh’s boundary-based batting. There is a need of maneuvering the strike more often. That’s how you can stabilize a partnership.
