Barb Soley Clinic Nov 1 / 2, 2014 Barbara Soley is a highly respected coach, rider, clinician and developer of young horses. She spent the early years of her career in Alberta Canada and the last 20 years on the east coast of the USA. As a rider Barb worked with Olympic course designer and U.S.E.T. member Linda Allen, Olympic Medalist Anne Kursinski and for many years was mentored by the legendary George Morris. During her riding career she achieved Grand Prix success. Her specialty was finding talented green horses and developing them to the Grand Prix level. Just a few of these horses were: • Concorde – U.S.E.T. mount for Olympic medalist Chris Kappler, winner of the American Invitational and many major Grand Prix • Guardian Angel – Grand Prix winner of Olympian Michael Matz • Chad – Grand Prix winner for Barb and Canadian team mount for Mark Laskin • Lionel – Grand Prix winner for McLain Ward and winner of the Hickstead Derby As a coach Barb focuses on the jumper ring. Her previous students are consistent winners at all major A horse shows on the eastern US circuits.
