Barcelona have signed 17-year-old midfielder Alen Halilovic on a five-year deal from Dinamo Zagreb. The Spanish champions have paid an initial fee of €2.2 million for the Croatia international before potential add-ons. Its difficult to find the words to describe how I feel, Halilovic told Barcas official website. Many thanks to Dinamo, who will always remain with me as my first love and as the club where I first began to realise my dreams. I want to thank all the coaches at the Dinamo academy, and all the supporters. Of course, Barcelona is something special. Its the club Ive loved since I was a boy and I feel honoured to have the opportunity to play for them. First of all, I want to win the double with Dinamo, and then concern myself with my new club. Halilovic reportedly also attracted interest from Real Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
