What was one of the most meaningful or memorable things someone did for you after your loss? It can be anything. One thing that is sticking out in my mind as I post this is... In 2012 after losing our Lil Lynch to miscarriage, a woman asked me How is the baby? after she had already been told we had lost the baby. She knew us from a local bar where we played on the APA Pool League and knew I had been pregnant. This happened not one time, but three different times. After the third time a friend from the bar stepped up and said, If you ask that girl about that baby one more time I will beat your ---! She has already told you more than once that the baby died and you keep upsetting her! I guess this sticks out in my mind as meaningful because it is so rare for someone to acknowledge your baby at all after youve had a miscarriage (like me) or really at all period regardless of loss type. Let alone take up for you and defend you against hurtful things that are said or done. The woman apologized and never asked me again which I was very grateful for. I think it is the little things like this that can mean so much.
