Barnie (named so by Sonia Chaudhry) is the very sweet and solemn young St Bernard that was found wandering at Sector 31, Noida around the 17th of October, with a bad maggot infested wound in the ear. That wasnt all. He was rescued and brought to us, and a blood chemistry analysis had revealed very high infection levels, and other skewed parameters too. He also seemed depressed ; and grew increasingly depressed as the days progressed. Had stopped eating as well. Was under aggressive treatment, and heavy doses of TLC ! & seems to be turning around :) Vidhi called me a short while ago to tell me that not only did he suddenly demand and eat an egg (when some other dogs were being fed in his presence), he thereafter had a full meal too :) He is an absolute sweetheart, trusting and docile. Loves to be taken for walks, needs to be spoken with. Lovely soulful eyes :) Hed be a joy to have around. Were calling for support - for a foster, or better still, a forever home.
