Barotselands Afumba Mombotwa Congratulates Zuma and ANC of South Africa on Re-election Barotseland Administrator General, Afumba Mombotwa, has joined the free world in congratulating President Jacob Zuma and the ANC of South Africa on his re-election for his second term of office. In a congratulatory letter of 12th May, 2014, Hon. Afumba on behalf of the Barotseland Government, Barotse Monarchy and the people of Barotseland Kingdom, wished the South African people, ANC and Mr. Zuma in particular God’s blessings as he started a new term in office. The people of the Republic of South Africa have clearly spoken their minds through the votes they cast in favor of the Africa National Congress in the just ended general elections that was fiercely contested. This victory means victory for South Africa and mainly to us it means political and democratic maturity of the nation and a reflection of how the people enjoy working with your government. However, the Government of the Barotseland Kingdom wishes you the best in your new term and endeavors and we have the belief that you will deliver the best and put South Africa always on the front in Africa. We understand that you have had numerous social and economic challenges during your first term tenure, but we are still confident that you will provide the leadership necessary to bring meaningful development to the whole of South Africa as you did before.
