Barratt Homes have bought the land at Manse Road to develop the planning application to build houses. The land has had planning permission for a number of years. Barratt are holding an open day in Lifestyles Centre on Thursday 29 August from 12 Noon till 8pm to have a public exhibition of their proposed development. This is your opportunity to go along and ask questions. For the residents of Manse Road the Community Councillors will be in attendance at 7pm to help liaison. We think that there should be an early opportunity to get a Stake Holders group established with the Community Council along with residents of West Mains and Barratt. This will pay dividends in the long run.
