Based on the amazing response to the what if we gave a new 2014 model post last week, we took your advice. We are proud to report that the Ride 2 Recovery foundation suggested we choose Katie K. for a new 2015 R240. Just a quick bio on Katie; 11 years active service in the Army, deployed in 2004 to Guantanamo Bay, and in 2008 with the 10th Sustainment Brigade to Iraq. Also she supported Operation Unified Response in 2010. She recently competed in the Warrior games in Colorado Springs and took 1st in the Womens upright 20km race. Her involvement in cycling has changed her life, for the better she says. We trust that you will agree with our decision to make this about drawing attention to our veterans rather than just a frame giveaway. Many of your posts suggested we do it this way. When you get a chance, give Katie a shoutout of encouragment here and be watching for a post featuring her, and her fellow warrior cyclists once she has the new steed up and running at top speed.
