Basket Weaving Workshop Sunday, November 9 1-5 p.m. The art of basket weaving dates back thousands of years to some of our earliest human ancestors. Remnants of these ancient relics, made of grasses, reeds and twigs, have been found at many archaeological sites. You can try your hand at the art of basket weaving during this interactive class taught by Marcia Balleweg of Oklahoma Basket Supply. You’ll learn about materials, experience various weaving techniques, and create a basket of your own. Materials will be supplied during the class. For ages 16 and up. Cost: $40 per person. Must pre-register.
