Basset Buddies Rescue of Texas would like to thank everyone who has donated to our sweet new addition, Soldier and shared his story. Late last night we had a setback but Soldier is still showing a tremendous will to live. His surgery went well but he started bleeding out and was rushed to an emergency vet. He has a hemotoma that the vets are working to eliminate. X rays showed that there are no skeletal problems but he is severely malnourished and has no muscle mass at all. This could be why he cannot walk.....other fears are of course neurological. The Gofundme page will be updated as information on Soldiers status becomes available to us. Currently he is still hospitalized.
