Battle Day 5 An odd day. The steroids in the chemo cocktail - TopicsExpress

Battle Day 5 An odd day. The steroids in the chemo cocktail have my sugar all up to 285 (after a short freakout, I learned that that is what happens). I had several visitors this afternoon - thank you Thomas Cole, Sarah Janet Cole,MichelAmy Cira, Kaarin Record Leach and Don, and Mic Elvenstar! Tim and I are having a bit of rough going, partially due to the fact that I put things out here on FB. FB is not a conversation. I type out my news, and then nothing happens. It doesnt encourage phone calls, or visits. I get greetings on here, which I appreciate, but it is very lonely and depressing when your one link to a human interaction is via computer. And again, I dont know anyone has read this unless they comment on it. Tim doesnt even have or use FB, so he is not getting even that. So I am going to stop the updates on here - if you want to find out what is going on, send a text or call, or better yet, visit! Im at CMC Main and can forward you the room number. I will say one last thing before I wrap up the Battle Reports - Day 5 of the chemo treatments (in each of the 4-6 week sets of 5 days) is the tell-all. It is the most dangerous one as it is the one that is set up to kill the B-cells in their developmental phase (including the good B-cells). Wish me luck - its more than a little scary.
