Battle of the Daddies, via the youngins. When Sophie was first delivered it was to John and she stayed the night there, naturally Star, Bear and Dee Dee were welcoming. Well, when Bear and Dee Dee got here yesterday they found Sophie. Bear didnt care. John was happy to see Sophie again and picked her up. Dee Dee did not like this. Dee Dee is much bigger and is trying to show Sophie that shes boss. During the night Dee Dee slept at the doorway of the bedroom and wouldnt let Sophie in. Sophie was keeping her distance. This AM after they all went out and they all got their treats, Sophie was coming to me as she does every morning and partially jumping into my lap, you know, front paws on your lap back paws on floor. Dee Dee got jealous and would do the same and shove the Soph out of the way. So I pick each one up and give them Daddy lovin and all is well. Sophie is staying glued to my side and Dee Dee is protecting the bedroom. So Im sitting here at the computer and I see Dee Dee approaching and there is low scale growling going on. Sopie comes out growling and barking at Dee Dee to stay away from me. Dee Dee is startled and walks away. Now since John is here normally just two days a week, I will give it a few weeks to see if it passes. If not, Annabelle will be going to the farm for a week and Dee Dee will be spending the week here with me, Sophie and Missy.
