Battling Cancer 2 I’m feeling like part of the BORG now. I - TopicsExpress

Battling Cancer 2 I’m feeling like part of the BORG now. I received a feeding tube and a port that will allow them to administer the chemo-therapy easier. It is an out-patient procedure, yet the portion that I must pay after insurance is more than the cost for an overnight stay two weeks ago, (two doctors). Cost after insurance, $719, cost two weeks ago, $440. One of the things I’d like to address as a foundation is all of the incidental cost. Every doctor’s visit has a of $40 co-pay and I saw 6 different doctors last week. I foresee a great deal of cost that are not covered by insurance nor do they go toward maximum out of pocket cost. I’m afraid that we may reach $7000 and still wind up paying additional hundreds or thousands. Well at least the pain from today’s surgery is bearable and I can still get busy tomorrow. World here I come.
