Bay state marathon is again seeking pacers for the 2014 race. SRR has helped with this in years past, ad Glenn stewart has asked us again for help. here are the details: baystatemarathon/ The race data is Oct 19. Each team will receive $300. The pace teams we are looking to fill or augment are: 3:05 Finish / 7:04 Pace 3:25 Finish / 7:49 Pace 3:35 Finish / 8:12 Pace 3:45 Finish / 8:35 Pace The teams for 3:15 and 4:00 are set. Because of the 10 mile loop at Baystate it is easy and preferred to create teams of 2 or 3 runners to handle the pacing. This allows the team members to share the pace load and limit how far each has to run. The pacer will carry a sign with pace listed, as well as receive a tee shirt with pace and mile splits.
