Be Mindful Of Him. Psalm 26:3 David in this psalm expresses his utter reliance upon God. He says ‘For I have been mindful of your unfailing love and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness’[Psalm 26:3, NIV]. There is insurmountable peace in being mindful of God in all situations that we come across. Focusing on God shows that we acknowledge that no situation can ever be greater than God already is. It is us saying ‘but my wonderful, awesome and ever faithful God is greater’. Job gives true testament to this. Even after the great losses he experienced, the excruciating pain he felt and all the somewhat discouraging talk he got from his friends – not once does he curse God. He continued to know that his redeemer lives. Today, some of us, are so easily overcome and discouraged by the challenges and storms of life. We forget who our God is and His greatness. We forget that He can never allow anything our lives that we don’t have the ability (that He has given us) to conquer. I encourage you today to continually be mindful of God. Know Him better than any circumstance. Acknowledge His greatness and majesty more than the size of your situation – it is then when you will find rest in God’s peace. Blessings! Humble regards, Ps.
