Be My Cat: A Film for Anne is an Official Selection in the main Fantasy Competition at 2015 FANTASPORTO - OPORTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (February 27 - March 7, Portugal), one of the most important and biggest film festivals in the world!!! 27 movies were selected in the fantasy competition and another 13 in directors week competition, from hundreds of submissions from over 50 countries! 6 of them, including Be My Cat, will be world premieres and the rest are some of the most successful recent #horror, fantasy and thriller films, including South Koreas 2015 entry for the Oscars! Most of them are from US (8) and UK (8). Be My Cat is the only one selected from Eastern Europe! Fantasporto was rated in Variety as one of the 25 leading festivals of the world! The first edition took place in 1981. Since then, hundreds of films that made history (like, for example, Pans Labyrinth or Seven, with Brad Pitt, Kevin Spacey, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow) were selected and awarded at the festival, from the greatest directors of all times: David Lynch, Quentin Tarantino, Ridley Scott, Lars von Trier, Peter Jackson, Joel and Ethan Coen, David Cronenberg, John Carpenter, George A. Romero, Brian de Palma, Sam Raimi, Guillermo del Toro, Peter Weir, David Fincher, Danny Boyle, Andrei Tarkovsky, Alain Resnais, Andrzej Zulawski, Luc Besson, Peter Greenaway, Neil Jordan, Pedro Almodovar, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Anthony Minghella, Tim Robbins, Robert Rodriguez, Vincenzo Natali, Wachowski brothers and many others!
