Be a Man Among Indian legends, there is a quite famous one, which is related to the creation of man. According to this legend, when the God created the world he held in his hand the four elements from which he made the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the winds, the seas, the trees,the animals and finally, man in his primitive image. In this task, he used up all the elements, so that when God subsequently wanted to create woman,he found he had to borrow from the other creatures to shape her features. Accordingly, he took from the sun its brightness,from the moon its roundness, from the stars their brilliance, from the mountains their obduracy, from the wind its fickleness, from the see its unsteadiness, from the lough its swaying, from dew its tearfulness, from leaves their lightn...ess, from dove its mildness, from the tiger cruelty from the peacock its swaggering, from fire its heat and from ice its coldness. The God mixed up all these features and molded from the mixture that creature called “women”.then he offered it to man so that it would keep him company.Man received the gift with gratitude.However, it wasnot long before man came up to see the God.”I cann’t keep ur gift..!”he complained:” it is a Tyrannous ruler ….;it neither listens to me nor cares to seek my advice..!” -And what do you want from me!? -Let me back my freedom and take this gift away.. -It was not me who took away your freedom so that I give it back to you! -What shall I do now? -the God answered him” Be a men”..!
