Be kind whenever possible. Its always possible. Dalai Lama. No, its not easy. Especially when someone is imposing their will on you! But it is possible. Thats the beauty and beast of this life. We get to chose how we respond to others. Is what you are about to say or do going to have a positive or negative outcome? When someone hurts you, you want to be mean. Because it makes YOU feel better. For a few minutes anyway. Then you are left with the rubble YOU created. Yes, YOU!!! No, you may not have done the wrong to begin with, but you did choose how to respond! It sucks to be in that position. But, it can also be liberating and empowering all at the same time. You see, when you figure out that your actually in control, its settling. It doesnt take away the feelings, but it does arm you for your battles that hide ahead. And just one more side note...if you put on the armor of God (as Paul suggested in Ephesus) then this might even be a little easier. Everyone have a blessed day. Stay strong in your daily battles. Be kind and friendly. Then YOU set the tone.
