Be part of the Parallel Roads Crowd Sourcing Film! Parallel Roads is a community interest company, working to develop an opportunity for young BME males in Manchester to build enterprises. In April next year a competition will be launched to support ten young men with the skills and ambition to take their ideas further. A start up fund will be awarded for their own small business. We are looking for black or ethnic minority men from the Manchester area to fill out our short survey and 3 BME males to take part in a short film to fundraise for an exciting new project. To make this possible, we will be making a short crowd sourcing film to be distributed around our partners, local Manchester businesses and fundraising websites. We have attached a survey to find key facts, your current skills and future vision. The findings will be included in the video; providing an evidence base that shows how the project can be beneficial and why funding from companies can make a real difference to somebodys life. This is where you get involved; we are looking for young men between 18-25 to fill out the survey and three BME males to speak our survey results. They will serve as a visual representation of these results and the type of BME men who will benefit from the program. It will be a short, but vital role. No specific experience is necessary, just an interest and a willingness to speak in front of others.
