Be proactive not reactive. Proactive means: 1. serving to prepare for, intervene in, or control an expected occurrence or situation, especially a negative or difficult one; anticipatory: Reactive means: 1. Tending to be responsive or to react to a stimulus. Be proactive in preparing for retirement. Dont wait 2 years from retirement to realize you forgot to prepare for retirement. A Reactive action at retirement when you find out you forgot to save is you continue to work until you die.
