Be your brothers keeper. Ebola broke out in 1976 in east Africa and in 2014 has now hit West Africa.... where we our brothers keepers? Did we as countries send volunteers and fund research on cures and vaccines? Ok lets shelve morals for now ( the same thing we demand as per zzmap) did we believe that in the 21s century outbreaks would remain remote and without precautions we would remain invulnerable? I hear all the angry comments towards America, Japan, Canada, etc who have planned ahead despite thier distance and functional health care systems and wonder when things will change for us... Nigeria cant even pass a National health care bill after 14 yrs of this current democracy. In addition to taking precaution to prevent ebola please pass on the message to others. And remember that it is possible to survive it. Being hospitalized is not a certain death.... not even in liberia or Sierra and which have much weaker health systems than Nigerias. Be your brothers and sisters keeper now and in the future. This is a bitter lesson.
