KADEN UPDATE We just made it back to the room from the GI study and x-rays. The initial report is that everything looks great and his stomach is not even slow to empty (something that we normally battle daily), perhaps thanks to the Axithromycin that he is now taking. I hope to talk to his doctor soon to see what our plan of action is now. Because if the medicine is solving the motility issues, Id prefer to see him just take the meds versus having a procedure done for a GJ tube. But, maybe thats just me... On another note, Kaden is looking more and more like himself with each passing day. He still gets tired easily but his respiratory team and nursing staff is all extremely impressed with how quickly he has improved. So thank you to each and every one of you that continue to pray for the little guy. I understand that theres never really a good time to be sick... being in the hospital for Christmas is not fun. But at least Santa didnt forget that we were here!
