When you have a big ego youre swimming in unteachable waters. The problem with that is you can only tread water for so long til you drown. Being in a teachable state with a small ego is when things can really start to take off for you. I was not supposed to arrive at a destination of financially free. I was broke with no job or income when I got started! It wasnt good timing for me to start when I started. I was almost homeless and the economy was in a massive downturn! I certainly wasnt qualified. I had ZERO business experience in both school and in the real world! In the very beginning the only thing I had was desire. Eventually I shrunk my ego and became teachable, too. Being in a teachable state with a small ego is when things really started to take off. Desire without being teachable equals hell. I recommend avoiding that mistake I made of not being teachable. If youre not teachable its because you have an ego that you have to kill first. You cannot have an ego and be teachable. You have to pick one or the other. Be teachable - its worthwhile! Where you start has nothing to do with where you arrive.
