Beachbody results week 1 January 19, 2015 7:11 PM We finished our first week of T25 Alpha and Shakeology, and the results are beginning to show. I’ve dropped a couple of pounds, lost an inch around the waist, and my blood pressure dropped about 7 points (from multiple readings); thighs and arms have slightly increased in size. Shakeology is everything it’s advertised to be and in having it for breakfast, it seems to stay with us throughout the day. We haven’t cut out our snacks completely but don’t have the cravings as with “regular” breakfasts. Other than going healthier with snacks like cheese, V8 juice, homemade jerky, etc., we haven’t made any other changes to our diet. But then we eat rather healthy to begin with in spite of an occasional steak dinner or bucket of popcorn at the movie. T25 Alpha routines are a little easier this time around and 25 minutes goes by quickly at 5:00 a.m. Our balance is improving and I’m realizing that its gradually becoming easier keeping up with the routines, although I do have to revert to the modifier from time to time. The only real side effect is a little morning stiffness, but that goes away once the workout begins and if experience is any indication, will fade away as we get in better shape.
