Bear Removal A man in upstate New York woke up the other morning to find a bear on his roof. Wanting to get rid of the bear, he looked in the Yellow Pages and sure enough, there was an ad for Upstate Bear Removers. He called the number listed and the bear remover said hed be over within the hour. The bear remover arrived, got out of his pickup truck, and proceeded to remove a ladder, a baseball bat, a 12 ga. shotgun, and a heavily scarred old pit bull. What are you going to do, asked the homeowner? The bear remover replied, Im going to put this ladder up against the roof. Then Im going to climb up onto the roof and knock the bear off with this baseball bat. When the bear falls off the roof, the pit bull is trained to grab the bear by its testicles and not let go. The bear will then be subdued enough for me to put him in the cage in the back of my truck. With that, the bear remover handed the homeowner the shotgun. Whats the shotgun for? asked the homeowner. Thats in case the bear knocks me off the roof... you shoot the dog.
