Beautiful little face, no? The only reason I am posting these photos of Triton on the AERC page is because -- thanks to someone drawing awareness to his situation by posting a CL ad (on this page) showing him being ridden at 7 months of age -- he was rescued from a VERY bad situation. You can see how skinny he is (and he was in the best condition of the other horses at this place). We had to buy him from the owners. He will make a wonderful recovery and make a wonderful horse and he needs help to get there. Equine WellBeing Rescue Inc., who took up his cause is the product of one very generous couples tireless work on behalf of horses in need. Additionally they have supported and contributed to our sport of endurance through their rescue efforts. One of their rescues completed Tevis both this year and last year. Who knows, maybe one of you will be riding Triton in an AERC event in several years! Please ... ANY donations toward Triton are much needed and greatly appreciated.
