Because You love what You have created, O God, You are not ignorant of our plight nor the behavior of Your people. Your heart embraces all. You have given to us the work of caring for each other, and while we are tempted to respond to evil with anger, You ask those who follow Your word to act with understanding and inclusion. Pour out the power of Your Spirit on the action of our lives so that the work of our hands will yield the community for which we pray today and forever +++++ +++++ 377 +++++ +++++ We are grateful, O God, for the gift of Your word and the call to be a people who announce Your salvation. While Your gift directs our lives, we ask for the insight and the grace to persevere day to day as Jesus did, and to continue to act according to Your intentions. Send us from this prayer renewed with the same faith that prompted Mary’s YES so that Your kin[g]dom will be seen in our words and works today and forever
