Because of the notorious reputation Comcast has for customer service, I feel compelled to offer a differing perspective from my own first hand experience. This afternoon, I had one of the easiest and most pleasant customer service experiences to date. Within 15 minutes of submitting my request, which was to cancel my current subscription and subscribe to a service that better fitted my needs, I was able to not only get a better deal than I thought but I was treated with respect, courtesy, and kindness by my service rep. I now pay 40% less per month for internet that is twice as fast, I was given the help and the solution I needed, and all this was done with transparent, plain, and friendly communication (and as mentioned, all within 15 minutes). Thank you, Comcast, for hiring Rhea; she has done wonders for your reputation and turned what was expected to be a frustrating hassle into a wonderful experience, and an unsatisfied customer into a customer that is now a proud #Comcast customer. I hope you continue to prioritize treating people like people as she has done so well on your behalf.
