Because of the snow today, I had a relatively quiet day. Also, possibly because of sleeping a lot. About an hour ago, though, I came down with my first fever - which is exciting. Chest X-ray done in my room, lots more blood work, IV antibiotics, and I even got to pee in a cup. The doctor and nurse arent particularly worried that I have a severe infection (I dont feel any different) and so Im sticking on their raft, that its probably just my body reacting to the chemo breaking down cells. Approximately 95% (completely unofficial number give to me by my nurse) of chemo patients get at least one fever while recovering. so, heres to mine! 🍹
